Vonnie kindly asked me to review her book for her and I am so glad she did. The greener forest is a delightful collection of great stories, poetry and imagery. Each story is a beautiful addition to this collection. There are so many great little stories throughout, some stories are beautifully magical and others sent a chill down my spine.
I was expecting stereotypical airy tales all sweetness and light and I have to admit I didn't have high expectations. I was wrong.
The imagery throughout is beautiful and sweet and really adds something special to each story.
There is a great mixture of poetry, stories and images that makes you want to read on.
There are stories to make you laugh and stories that will bring a tear to your eye.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great collection. I will tell my co-author about it- since she is a 5th grdae teacher and many short stories appeal to the kids she teaches.
